Pratola Peligna is located at the center of the Peligna Valley, surrounded by mountains of Morrone and Maiella, 50 minutes from Adriatic coast and about 20 minutes from the most renowned ski basin is Roccaraso-Rivisondoli that Scanno and Ovindoli-Monte Magnola. Washed by the rivers Aterno and Sagittarius is near the river Tirino recognized oasis of natural beauty. It also allows you to taste the various specialties of the area primarily wine (Montepulciano, Trebbiano and Cerasuolo), olive oil, white truffle and summer, honey, cheese from sheep's and goat's renowned fresh mozzarella and dried, sugared traditional pasta extruded at bronno, homemade sausages including wild boar and the famous lamb kebabs .
